Looking Back: A Quiet Reflection at the End of the Year

As the year comes to an end, I feel a gentle urge to pause and look back—not just at this year, but at the last five years of my life.

When COVID changed the world, it also changed my direction. Like many others, I stepped into the digital space, unsure but hopeful. That phase opened a completely new world for me. I started learning digital marketing, earned a Google certification, and built my own website from scratch. For someone who had never done that before, it felt like a big step.

I began writing blogs to help educators—sharing simple tools, online tips, and ideas to make teaching easier in a digital classroom. Slowly, I started sharing my work on social media, linking it back to my blog. I explored affiliate marketing with platforms like Amazon and Canva. I created and shared content that I genuinely believed would help teachers.

Over time, I started creating digital products and Canva resources—and sold them through my website using Instamojo. I also started a podcast, where I shared thoughts on personal growth and inner strength. I became a Google Certified Educator and even created an online course to help teachers use Google Classroom confidently. I recorded YouTube videos, wrote scripts, edited them myself, and uploaded them with hope.

One of the most meaningful moments in this journey was writing my book,
Radiant Resilience – Top 7 Ways to Ignite Your Inner Strength. Seeing my thoughts turned into an ebook on Amazon was something I will always cherish.

Looking back, I realize how much effort, time, and heart I poured into the digital world.

But the truth is—it did not turn into the success I had imagined. Slowly, quietly, I stepped away from everything I had built. There was no dramatic ending, just acceptance.

Last year, there was no focus on digital products. No content plans. No new goals. Life felt still.

Yet, in that stillness, something beautiful happened.

I experienced affection, care, and emotional support from my soulmate—something I had missed for many years, something I didn’t even know I was longing for so deeply. That warmth filled a space that achievements never could.

This reflection has taught me a powerful lesson:
Not all success is visible. Not all growth is loud.

Sometimes, growth looks like healing.
Sometimes, success feels like peace.
Sometimes, progress means letting go.

As I move into a new year, I carry gratitude—for the courage to try, the strength to stop, and the love that finally found its way to me.

This year-end reflection is not about what I achieved.
It is about what I felt, what I learned, and who I became.

And that, for now, feels enough.

My father's Last journey in the Michian Strom

On December 3rd, a day that began like any other Sunday, I woke up late, had my morning coffee, and found Dad still asleep, which was unusual. Initially, I thought he might be unwell, so I let him rest a bit longer. As time passed, concern grew, and when we checked on him, we discovered he had passed away. The shock and disbelief were overwhelming. Frantic calls to neighbors, paramedics, and relatives ensued, trying to handle the sudden loss.

As night fell, heavy rain compounded our difficulties. With rising water levels, the planned cremation faced obstacles. Neighbors, however, stepped up, offering support and sustenance, despite our area facing power cuts and a lack of essentials. We managed to arrange for a vehicle, but the floodwaters rendered it inaccessible. It was a distressing time; despite seeking help from various sources, our options were limited.

Eventually, through the help of community leaders, we arranged a makeshift transport to a nearby location. Carrying Dad's body through the flooded waters was a heartbreaking necessity. We reached the cremation site but encountered further challenges—a locked gate and unexpected transportation for the rites.

The return journey was perilous, walking through rising water levels and rushing streams. Fear gripped me when I felt like I couldn't move, but the support of family and strangers helped us navigate the treacherous path. We found temporary shelter in a vehicle, enduring the night with limited provisions.

When the rain finally ceased on December 5th, we returned home after a long and unforgettable journey. The memories of that harrowing experience will forever remain with me, despite the short distance covered, the challenges made it an arduous ordeal.

Experiencing a new world

Multi Generation Family Sitting On Sofa At Home Watching TV Stock ...  Photos: Lockdown in Hyderabad

At last all our dreams like - being with family, studying from home, working from home.. everything has come true.  Many a times when we were kids, we would have thought, to stay home and study, play all the day, to see empty roads, no tension of getting up early.. no tension of cooking fast.. no tension of reaching late to office..  We relax at home and at the same time are able to work..

It is up to us, to utilize the available time in the most productive way and try to accomplish, if not all, some of our dreams to come true.

Though, there are many drawbacks, like not getting groceriess and provisions properly, still it is a precious time, which we can cherish for our life time. Because its for sure, such a situation may not occur in our life time ever. May be we will be the one to tell to our future generation that, we were in quarantine or lock down or section 144 imposed still no action were taken on the law breakers.

Best Digital Marketing Internship program ever

I have some interesting facts to share with, about the latest trends of marketing which has become digital from the traditional one. And digital marketing has evolved during this pandemic situation.

As people stay at home and try to avoid coming out, they are moving more towards the online platforms for - watching movies, listening music, shopping households provisions, learning, reading books, working from home.

As per the data of Datareportal.com, it states that the Social media users have grown by more than 10% over the past year, taking the global total to 3.96 billion by the start of July 2020.

  Source : https://datareportal.com/reports/digital-2020-july-global-statshot

This means that – for the first time – more than half of the world’s population now uses social media. Growth trends indicate that an average of more than 1 million people started using social media for the first time every single day over the past 12 months, equating to almost 12 new users every second.

So having a good potential for any online product, I wanted to learn digital marketing and join a good training program. After much introspection, I joined an Internship programme conducted by Mr.Deepak - popularly known as Digital Deepak.

His program is very unique when compared to others, everyone just teaches that particular subject. But, he is the one, who genuinely cares about our personal growth and wants you to really succeed in the life and business.

You may think I'm exaggerating, but I can give you an example, during the first week of the training program he shared a video - “Success Mindset” it was very motivating and inspiring. The training session includes basic skill, confidence building, communication and personality development along with the regular marketing course.

Now in the second week he has given an introduction on what is digital marketing and why it is needed?

So, let me share the information, which I learnt during this week's program : .

  1. Personality development
  2. Global Economy
  3. Fundamentals of Marketing
  4. Selection of Niche

·         Marketing is a Science and not an Art, this was a new theory to me, when i heard it.

·         The future of marketing may evolve but Marketing is not going to die.

·         Though AI is evolving, it cannot replace marketing

·         The founder has to be a marketer and cannot be outsourced, because he should know what is needed in the market.

·         Good product will sell by itself

Traditional marketing Methods

Digital marketing methods

·         As everyone remembers only No1 or No2, it is always important to select a category or a sub-category to become no.1.

6. CATT Marketing funnel : He gives a formula for wealth generation

·         Wealth =  n^CATT

7. Integrated Digital Marketing: He has created a Blueprint of how Integrated Digital Marketing Works

·         The first step is Content creation, Content is the base of the system.

·         Once you have a proper content it is easy to attract traffic towards it.

·         SEO for attracting traffic

·         Posting the content in Social Media

·         Email Marketing and doing paid advertising to attract traffic towards the content

·         Sell products and convert your clients

8.            Personal Brand: He says that we need to have a personal brand even if you have a company brand.

    • During the startup, it is preferable to have a personal brand instead of a company brand
